My art practice is driven by a fascination with colour, composition and the human face. All three seem to offer endless possibilities for expression and the slightest nuance in any one can transform a painting.

These self portraits (executed from a combination of reference photos, a mirror and memory) document my exploration of those elements and, importantly, of the multiple facets of my own identity.
